Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Site (including booking tickets). By using the Canberra Comedy Festival Site, you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you choose not to be bound by the terms and conditions, Canberra Comedy Festival does not grant you the right to use the Site and you must not use this Site.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Canberra Comedy Festival may vary these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any variations become effective on posting. By making a purchase or using the Site after the terms and conditions have been varied, you agree to be bound by the variation.
Canberra Comedy Festival provides the Site to you for personal use only. You may access and use the Site (including any incidental copying that occurs as part of that use) in the normal manner.
You must not add any content to the Site:
(a) unless you hold all necessary rights, licences and consents to do so;
(b) that would cause you or us to breach any law, regulation, rule, code or other legal obligation;
(c) that is or could reasonably be considered to be obscene, inappropriate, defamatory, disparaging, indecent, seditious, offensive, pornographic, threatening, abusive, liable to incite racial hatred, discriminatory, blasphemous, in breach of confidence or in breach of privacy;

(e) that infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any person.

The licence will survive any termination of these Terms.

No transaction over the internet can be guaranteed as secure. Canberra Comedy Festival does not warrant the security of any submitted information, and you submit the information at your own risk.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- we retain complete editorial control over the Site and may alter, amend or cease the operation of the Site at any time in our sole discretion; and
- the Site will not operate on a continuous basis, and may be unavailable from time to time (including for maintenance purposes).
Canberra Comedy Festival is not liable for loss or damage cause by inaccurate information being provided on this website.
To the extent provided by law, Canberra Comedy Festival excludes liability for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly, including through negligence, from your use of this website, including;
- Reliance upon the information provided within the Site
- Viruses or other forms of internet attacks which may have been transmitted or activated by your usage or access to the Site
The Site may contain links to third party or external sites. Canberra Comedy Festival takes no responsibility for the content or security of these sites.
Links to external websites does not imply an endorsement, approval or recommendation by Canberra Comedy Festival of the owners or operators of those linked websites, or of anything referred to or contained on those linked websites.
1.1 These Terms are to be read subject to any legislation which prohibits or restricts the exclusion, restriction or modification of any implied warranties, conditions, guarantees or obligations. If such legislation applies, to the extent possible, we limit our liability in respect of any claim to, at our option to the terms of our refunds policy or otherwise:
(a) in the case of goods:
(i) the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods;
(ii) the repair of the goods;
(iii) the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods; or
(iv) the payment of having the goods repaired, and
(b) in the case of services:
(i) the supply of the services again; or
(ii) the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
Events and Ticketing
The content of each show has been determined by the comedian(s) themselves and not by the Canberra Comedy Festival. The Canberra Comedy Festival is not responsible or liable for the content of the performance.
Some shows contain adult content and ‘colourful language’, which may also be used in audience interaction. Comedy can be subjective, we recommend familiarising yourself with the comedian(s) you wish to see before booking.
Canberra Comedy Festival reserves the right to add, withdraw, reschedule or substitute artists and / or vary advertised programs, prices, venues, seating arrangements and audience capacity.
Late arrival may result in non-admittance until a suitable break in the performance.
Audio and video recording devices, including still photography, are not permitted inside performance venues unless authorised by the Canberra Comedy Festival.
It may be a condition of entry to individual events that ID is required to be produced to the Canberra Comedy Festival or associated staff members. Where concessions are available, suitable ID must be produced for admission.
Tickets may not, without the prior written consent of Canberra Comedy Festival, be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via on-line auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original purchaser or any subsequent bearer. If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.
Canberra Comedy Festival reserves the right to refuse entry.
Entry may be refused if ticket purchases are incomplete or are not purchased from Canberra Comedy Festival or other authorised points of sale.
Any persons who are noisy, drunk, threatening or unruly will be asked to leave the premises.
Refunds are offered at the sole discretion of the Canberra Comedy Festival.
The Canberra Comedy Festival is under no obligation to provide a refund except as required by law.
Canberra Comedy Festival will provide refunds in the event that an event is cancelled or significantly altered from the event advertised at the time of sale.

These Terms terminate automatically if, for any reason, we cease to operate the Site.
We may otherwise terminate these Terms immediately, on notice to you, if you have breached these Terms in any way.
You must not assign, sublicence or otherwise deal in any other way with any of your rights under these Terms.
If a provision of these Terms are invalid or unenforceable it is to be read down or severed to the extent necessary without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory
