The Canberra Comedy Festival will be using the 245 seat Street 1, the 80 seat Street 2.  Make sure you check your ticket to confirm the room for your show.

During the Canberra Comedy Festival the Street Theatre be home to Urzila Carlson, Rich Hall, Tom Gibson, Shit-Faced Shakespeare, Matt Okine, Raw Comedy, Aunty Donna, Cal Wilson, Rhys Nicholson, Clean Comedy Spectacular, The Stevenson Experience, Vanessa Conlin, Harris Stuckey and James McMahon, Look at Me Now Mum, John Hastings, Pilot Season, Mark Swivel, Damien Power and Cameron James.

By Car

On-street parking is available immediately outside the theatre’s entrance and surrounding streets.
Disabled Parking space is available at the front of the theatre.
Please note that the carpark next to the theatre is currently not available for use, due to construction works being undertaken at ANU. Please allow time to find a carpark next time you visit.

All 300 Series (including BlueRapid) and Route 900 ACTION Buses stop nearby to the theatre at Rimmer Street (Northbound only), Marcus Clarke Street and Alinga Street (Southbound only). Visit the ACTION Buses website for more detailed times and route information.


Canberra is well known for being a cycle friendly city, with many pathways leading int the CBD and ANU precincts.  Cycling is an environmentally friendly option for coming to The Street.  Secure your bike to one of the many racks outside the foyer.


The Street Theatre is located at 15 Childers Street, Canberra City.  The Theatre is right on the edge of the Australian National University.
