'Breaking: The Musical' is the true story of a completely fictional Breakdancer from Sydney’s journey to the 2024 Paris Olympics. Written by Australian comedian and musician Steph Broadbridge.
Steph leads an ensemble cast as they tell the inspiring story of ‘Spraygun’ through comedy, music and dance. The show created an international media storm, when a trial run was shut down in December 2024, by Rachael Gunn’s lawyers.
Despite the legal setbacks the show continues to thrive, garnering rave reviews, sold out shows around Australia and a hugely successful run at Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
