As we lead up to our biggest Festival yet in 2025, the Canberra Comedy Festival is seeking volunteers to assist in getting the Festival going. If you are keen to be a part of the Festival, please fill in the form below to register your interest.
Typically we have our volunteers help our staff check tickets and usher patrons to seats at some of our venues. Usually you will get to see some of the show you are working on.
Yes, there are lots of little jobs while not ushering. You might help get some signage ready or provide information/directions to patrons. Maybe set out chairs, or carry out some surveys.
Yes, we hold orientation sessions in the lead up. You get a uniform to keep as well!
Ummm…. no. You might need to help them out, but generally backstage is for the comedians only. This sounds great, how do I apply?
